The Yankees and the Mets open interleague play at the Stadium tonight. The Yankees’ bats sent a loud message last night in Baltimore with a 13-run attack, and ran their five game count to 33 runs. The signs are there that the dormant days of the Yankees under-achieving vaunted offense is ready to take center stage. The Mets are playing without key chips in the middle of the lineup with Davis and Wright on the shelf, and will have their hands full in the Bronx tonight. Last year's hero R.A. Dickey, is coming up empty with a 1-9 mark in his last 10 starts on grass, while the Bombers are cruising to a 29-11 mark at home vs. losing teams in their last 40. The Yankees win easy and get this one on the runline.
