Milwaukee pounded the Mets, 17-6, on Saturday while banging out 19 hits as the Brewers stretched their lead to four games in the NL Central and won for the 10th time in their last 13 games. New York now is 1-7 its last eight meetings at Milwaukee, and the Mets have lost 47 of their last 67 against teams with winning records dating to last season. Jhoulys Chacin has been a big surprise as he has proven that he can pitch well outside the confines of Petco Park. The right-hander is 3-1 with a 3.32 ERA and has allowed a total of only four runs his last five starts, including a 5-0 win over Arizona on Tuesday when he allowed no runs on two hits in five innings. Milwaukee has one of the best bullpens in the majors, and it will only need another five or six good innings from Chacin in this matchup. Zack Wheeler is 2-4 with a 5.32 ERA, and the Mets have lost his last four starts by a combined score of 27-10. Play the Brewers.
