New York at Milwaukee

The Mets forgot to pack their offense on their current long road trip, and have been shutout twice already, en route to dropping five in a row. Milwaukee is just 1-8 over their last nine games, and have certainly lived with losing a lot more than the Mets have this year, as they are just percentage points better than the worst team in MLB, the Phillies. Mike Fiers is 3-7 with a 4.50 ERA, and his last outing was horrible, as the Brewers dropped a 10-2 decision to Kansas City. Both teams are struggling, but New York is 10-4 in their last 14 vs. a team below .400, and Niese is 7-2 in his last nine starts vs. a losing team. The Brewers have yet to break through behind Fiers as a favorite, where they are 0-6 in his last six starts in that role. Milwaukee's 12-39 mark in their last 51 vs. a team that scored two or fewer runs in their last game doesn't help their cause. Take the road team Mets in this one.
