New York at Miami

The New York Mets made a lot of off-season transactions to get this team over the hump and into the playoffs. It has been a season-long struggle with injuries coming into play, but overall the Mets have been teetering at the .500 mark for much of the season. They won the series opener to move a game over the .500 mark. The Marlins are still in a big rebuilding mode. This team has had its moments but at 57-81 on the season, they appear to be a long way from being consistently competitive. I do see value in this game on the Marlins for this reason. The Mets have faltered on the road at 29-42 for the season, while the young Marlins have thrived at home at 36-34 (21-47 on the road). Make the play on Miami.
