Jose Fernandez had one bad outing at Atlanta, but now he's back to normal with Miami. He has won his last two starts while he allowed just two earned runs in 13 1/3 innings with 22 strikeouts, including 14 Ks in just 6 1/3 innings at Philadelphia on Monday. Fernandez is 8-1 at home this season and 17-0 at home the three previous seasons and in that time, Fernandez has given up just five earned runs in 34 innings against the Mets. Jacob deGrom comes off a strong performance as he shut out the Phillies 5-0 while throwing 105 pitches on Sunday. However, Miami has won six in a row when coming off a loss and the Mets have lost their last four when coming off a win. The Marlins are 29-3 in Fernandez' last 32 home starts and they have won Fernandez' last five starts against the Mets. Back the Marlins.
