The Mets have had great expectations the past several years, but they have simply never materialized. They dealt with countless injuries a year ago, and after a few disappointing seasons, those expectations have quelled quite a bit. That usually means this team will over-achieve this season. Jon Niese should improve upon a 9-10 mark a year ago as he has good stuff and can get the big strikeout when needed. Florida will opt for Ricky Nolasco who won 14 games a year ago, but is subject to the long ball as he gave up 24 HRs in just 157 innings, something he has been plagued with his entire career.
