New York at Los Angeles

The LA Dodgers made quick work of the New York Mets in the NLCS opener in LA 9-0. The Dodgers bandwagon will be filling up after Game 1; History tends to agree with them as a team shutout in Game 1 loses Game 2 60% of the time. That goes up if the winning team in Game 1 scored six or more runs, as they also win Game 2 83% of the time. The Mets will try to capture Game 2 as they face Ryan Brasier. Brasier is no easy task as the Dodgers went 24-10 in his 34 starts, but more notably, the Dodgers have not lost a game he started at home since June 1! (10-0). The Dodgers staff has allowed just five total runs in the ten starts at .5 runs per game. I think the Mets are leaving LA 0-2. Make the play on the LA Dodgers.
