New York at Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Dodgers will have Zack Greinke on the mound as they square off with the New York Mets tonight. Zack Greinke has the widest range of effectiveness when comparing his road numbers up against his home numbers, especially when he is posted as a favorite on home turf. Greinke has been a masterful 72-27 in his last 98 starts as a home favorite, and he fits into a subset of that which is an insane 41-1. These are hard numbers to ignore for this game. The Mets have had no answers for the Dodgers as they are 2-12 in the last 14 meetings, and have lost five straight to them in LA. Jacob deGrom has had a good season, but this is his first start since serving time on the DL with shoulder tendonitis, and he will likely not hold the same form. Greinke owns a 2.48 ERA in his 11 starts here on the season, plenty good to lead the Dodgers into the win column. Take the Dodgers.
