New York at Colorado

The Colorado Rockies took the heart and game away from the NY Mets last night. The Mets appeared on their way to taking the series opener as they opened a comfortable 6-2 lead, but the Rockies responded by hanging up 16 runs over a three inning stretch to blow the Mets out. That has left the Mets pen depleted and Dillon Gee has not been pitching deep into games or effectively. The Mets won ten straight last year with Gee inserted into the rotation, but have since been just 8-12 over his last 20 starts as well as a rocky 0-5 vs a team that scored 5+ in their last game. The Rockies have taken six of the last eight and have the bats booming, play on Colorado.
