New York lost a tough one last night in Max Scherzer's return from an injury when Mike Moustakas hit a game-winning sacrifice fly in the ninth for a 1-0 Cincinnati victory. The Mets went UNDER for the fifth time in eight games and the Reds have stayed UNDER three of their last four. David Peterson starts tonight for New York and he is 5-1, and gave up three runs on five hits in six innings Friday in a 4-3 win over Texas. The Mets bullpen is #8 in the majors with 23 saves with a 3.61 ERA and 1.25 WHIP. The Reds have lost five of their past seven and they are 14-26 at home this season and sitting in last place in the NL Central. Peterson has a 2.17 ERA and .180 opponent batting average in six appearances on the road. The Mets are 23-6 following a loss and 22-4 versus a team that allowed two or fewer runs its previous game.
