Bailey pitched three scoreless innings against the Cubs before leaving as a precaution when he felt some irritation in his shoulder but appears to be fine now. The Mets have lost four of Rafael Montero's last five starts and his last appearance was in relief when he allowed two runs on two hits in a third of an inning against the Nationals. Montero is 2-9 with a 5.64 ERA on the season and opponents are batting .315 against him.
