Smyly allowed just a run on four hits in six innings in an eventual 7-6 loss to Houston on Wednesday. Smyly has allowed only five runs in 21 innings at home with a .139 opponent batting average. New York is riding a five-game win streak and will send Kodai Senga to the mound. He has been good at home and not so much on the road, where he has a hefty 6.30 ERA. The Mets are 2-7 their past nine games versus left-handed starters and 3-9 overall their past nine road games. Chicago has won 17 of 23 in the first game of a series dating to last season, but take the Cubs on the run line as a Max Play.
