Chicago has Shota Imanaga going today and he is 7-1 with a 1.89 ERA and a 0.99 WHIP and the Cubs have won his past three starts as he has allowed only four earned runs in 18 innings with 19 strikeouts. Chicago has won his past seven home starts and the Cubs are 6-0 their past six games when Imanaga starts against teams with losing records. New York is 0-6 following an off day and the Mets come off a 5-3 loss to Texas on Wednesday. Jose Quintana is 2-5 for the Mets with a 4.98 ERA although he did get a 5-1 victory over San Diego on Saturday by pitching six innings and allowing a run on two hits. However, the Mets are 0-5 in Quintana's past five outings following a quality start his last game.
