The New York Mets have to be mentally anguished after blowing a game to their rival Yankees on a dropped pop-up that should have ended the game. Then in the series finale with their ace Johan Santana on the mound, they are a no-show in a 15-0 loss. They will turn to Mike Pelfrey tonight, who hasn't exactly duplicated his year in '08. Pelfrey threw a lot of innings last year as he topped the 200 mark, and doesn't seem to be delivering the same stuff this season. His ERA is over a run higher compared to last year. The Mets have been less-than average on the road while the Birds have played well at Camden Yards - three games over .500. The Mets have been bad on the road, posting a record of 6-16 in their last 22 on the road with a total in the 9-10.5 range, and as a dog of +110 to +150, they have taken the collar at 0-5 in their last five. The O's have gotten it done in interleague play with a stellar 6-1 mark against right-handed starters in their last seven. The Mets are in a mental rut and I look for the O's to deliver the win here at home.
