New York at Atlanta

The New York Mets are playing poor baseball right now. They went on an eight game winning streak back in mid June and everyone thought this team was taking off. They have been grounded since. The Mets’ last 38 games have turned in a 14-24 mark. The road has killed them as the offense sputters at 2 runs per game in their last 11 on the road. This is not the place for them to get better as Atlanta has been a house of horrors for the Mets where they are 23-50 in their last 73. Johan Santana does not appear to be the same pitcher he once was, and for his career his teams have a losing record when he takes the hill as a dog. Overall the Mets are 21-48 in their last 69 as a road dog. The Braves are sporting a nifty 9-1 mark behind Hudson with a moneyline of -110 to -150, dominating at home with the best record in MLB. The Braves take this one.

2 units on Atlanta -140 (moneyline) (risk 2 to return 2)
