New York at Atlanta

The New York Mets have underachieved for quite some time. They finally look like, under new leadership, that this team is ready to go. Dillon Gee might be the weakest link in the Mets’ solid staff, but that is based on early returns as Gee was a big factor a year ago. After starting 0-4 the Braves have won five straight, but have allowed 40 runs in nine games, including 20 in the five-game winning streak, so they certainly are vulnerable. Once upon a time the Mets could not win in Atlanta, but have exorcised that demon, taking five of the last seven here, and overall have taken down Atlanta four straight times. Play on New York in this one.
