New York at Atlanta

The New York Mets have had a tough time winning in Atlanta over the years, but they are catching the Braves at a good time. Atlanta has injury issues in their rotation, and compound those injuries, they are simply not swinging the bats. The Braves have produced just 19 runs in seven games, and will go with an unknown quantity today in David Hale. Hale did not do anything to give him or the Braves confidence this spring where he imploded to a 6.62 ERA. The lack of offense with a struggling inexperienced pitcher puts the Mets on the plus side of the value here. The Mets have also been 7-2 in their last nine on the road going back to the end of last year. Take the Mets in a good spot for this one.
