Great pitching matchup in Atlanta tonight as Tim Hudson squares off against John Maine. Hudson has pitched well against the Mets, but the difference in this game is the bullpens. Hudson dropped his last two decisions to the Mets last season, and in his four starts the bullpen has worked nine innings and has allowed the Mets nine runs. The Mets won 20 games last year when Maine was on the Hill as Maine was brilliant in his last two starts against the Braves, allowing just six hits and two runs over 13 innings. Pitching is a wash here - the Mets pen is more effective, so we will ride the dog.
