Minnesota at Toronto

The Minnesota Twins have hung around and have been in contention all the way into August, and that has been a big surprise. Despite that, they are still getting little respect from the oddsmakers, and will take the field tonight as a very sizable dog. Minnesota has been known for plucking gems out of their system, putting them on stage and getting results. Tonight it will be Tyler Duffey, who possesses a 2.66 ERA in 21 minor league starts at AA and AAA. Toronto counters with Drew Hutchison who has a record that is a whole lot better than he deserves. Hutchinson owns a 9-2 record, but his ERA ranks amongst the worst in the league at 5.42. The Twins have had a penchant for rising from the ashes of losses in the first two games of a series to rally back in game three where they are now 6-1 in their last seven in this spot. On the other hand, the Jays are just 5-11 in series game three behind Hutchinson, who has not been able to close the deal. Take Minnesota.
