The Rangers are really pressing as they held the lead in the AL West most of the season, but have fallen a game behind the Astros, and the Mariners, and sit in 3rd place. The Rangers are a woeful 3-11 in their last 14 games. They have not come close to being competitive in the 14 games as they have been out-scored 77-48. Jordan Montgomery will start for Texas, and in 4 career starts vs. Minnesota, he holds a not-so-healthy 5.73 ERA.
