The New York Yankees ran out of patience with one-time rising star prospect Phil Hughes. The Minnesota Twins jumped in and they are glad they did as the change of scenery has paid dividends for them. They are 11-4 in Hughes' 15 starts as he has pitched to a 3.40 ERA. The Texas Rangers have really struggled, and so has their ace Yu Darvish. Darvish has allowed four runs or more in three of his last four starts on the season. Darvish has dropped his last two starts, and Texas is just 7-18 in their last 25 games. The Twins have been really good behind Hughes in the role of a dog where they are 8-1 in his nine starts this year.
