Minnesota has won three in a row as it finally is making a move to salvage its season while the Rangers are a hopeless case, 18 games out and in last place in the AL West. The Twins won 3-2 on Saturday when Max Kepler scored the go-ahead run on a second straight wild pitch by John King in the seventh as Texas found another way to lose a game. It was its fifth defeat in a row. Kenta Maeda gave up a run on three hits in four innings his last outing against Seattle. Maeda has one appearance against Texas this season, and he pitched five shutout innings on two hits. Dane Dunning allowed four runs on seven hits in seven innings against the Dodgers last Sunday. The Twins have won the last six meetings at Texas, and the Rangers are 6-23 as underdogs and 21-51 their past 72 games versus right-handed starters. Take the Twins.
