The Texas Rangers hung a 20-spot on the Twins last night, and in the process depleted their bullpen. After a good season for the Twins last year, Carl Pavano has been marginally effective this year at 6-7 with a 4.24 ERA. After a 15-win season a year ago, CJ Wilson has gotten even better with 10 in the win column already and an ERA that is shrinking and under 3. Wilson has allowed just a single run in his last 15 innings of work and the Twins have shown little bite as a dog of +201 or higher at 3-13 in their last 16, and the Twins are 1-9 behind Pavano when he pitches against a team that scored 5+ in their last game. The Rangers are grabbing the cash behind Wilson at home where they are 22-5 in his last 27 starts here as a favorite. Play Texas in this one.
