Minnesota at St. Louis

Minnesota looks to salvage the final game of this three-game series and will start Bailey Ober, who was 12-9 with a 3.98 ERA last season with an improved changeup. The Cardinals haven't faced Ober since 2021. Andre Pallante starts for St. Louis and he finished 8-8 with a 3.78 ERA in 2024. He is mostly a ground-ball pitcher and Minnesota's big hitters need to find some holes after hitting the ball hard the first two games with nothing to show for it. Byron Buxton. The Cardinals have gone UNDER in Pallante's past six home starts and the Twins are 4-0 UNDER in Ober's past four Sunday starts. The UNDER is 6-0 in Pallante's past six starts against teams that scored two or fewer runs their previous game. Minnesota is still favored as it does have better overall talent.
