The Minnesota Twins have been the biggest surprise in the AL as they have played to a 34-28 record through 62 games on the season. They will spend the next four days playing the best team in baseball, with a 4-game home and home series vs. the Cardinals. They will face a struggling John Lackey, who allowed a career high 10 earned runs in his last outing. Lackey has had a brilliant career, but at age 36 he doesn't seem to command the same stuff. Trevor May has won four of his last five decisions, and the loss was his last game that saw hom allow just one run over six innings of work.
