The Seattle Mariners are a surprising eight games over the .500 mark, and they will send Hisashi Iwakuma to the mound against the Twins at home. Iwakuma has been marginal over his last eight starts, either very good or very bad. He has allowed four runs or more in half of those eight starts. When you look at Kevin Correia's numbers, they certainly don't offer much as he is 4-10 with a 4.95 ERA on the season. Correia has pitched much better of late allowing two or fewer runs in four of his last five starts and has not allowed more than six hits in any of those outings. Iwakuma has pitched better on the road, and the Mariners are just 1-5 in his last six starts at home on the season. Line value goes to the dog in this one. Make the play on Minnesota.
