Minnesota at San Diego

San Diego is not likely to catch the Dodgers in the NL West, but this is a solid team that is likely to earn a Wild Card spot in the NL Playoffs. Minnesota leads the AL Central, but the Padres have a better overall record. The Twins opened their current seven-game road trip with a pair of losses in Milwaukee where the questionable pitching gave up 17 runs in the two games. Minnesota, under manager Rocco Baldelli, has not fared well vs. left handed pitching where they are just 67-73 for -19 units. San Diego enters at 18-4 on the season following two straight games that went OVER the total. I like San Diego in this one. Back the Padres here.
