It is amazing how Oakland, who never puts together a solid lineup anymore, keeps developing starting pitchers that hold them in games, despite their shortcomings on offense. The latest in a long line of chuckers is 24-year-old right hander Tyson Ross. Ross has caught on quickly after getting roughed-up in a brief stint with the A's a year ago, but through 36 innings he's opening some eyes and shaking some hitters’ heads with a nifty 2.50 ERA. The Twins’ offense has simply been a joke, and the starting pitching has let them down, but Nick Blackburn is holding his end of the bargain on the hill. Blackburn has pitched admirably on the road throughout his career leading to a 25-10-2 mark to the UNDER when he gets the ball for the Twins on the road. The UNDER gets this one.
