The New York Yankees have been up and down this season, and after taking two of three in St. Louis, they come home and get buried by the Twins who have swung the bats rather impressively this season. They will send their ace to the mound in Masahiro Tanaka, who is 7-1 with an impressive 2.29 ERA on the season. The Yankees offense does not own a .300 hitter, and one problem has been their staff which has allowed more HR's than any team in the AL at 58, and Tanaka has not been immune to the long ball. The Twins are 5-1 in their last six vs. a team that allowed 5+ runs in their last game.
