Minnesota goes for its third straight win after defeating the Chicago White Sox 3-1 on Wednesday as Sonny Gray pitched five shutout innings and the bullpen allowed one run in four innings. The Twins bullpen has a 2.68 ERA and 1.03 WHIP and is a big reason they are in first place in the AL Central with an 8-4 record. Joe Ryan is 2-0 allowing five runs in 12 innings and he has been helped by good run support. Minnesota has won nine of its past 12 games versus right-handed starters and New York is 3-9 against starters with WHIPs of less than 1.15 dating to last season.
