Minnesota at New York

Bartolo Colon just keeps on going and the 43-year-old now is 13-7 with a 3.27 ERA. New York has won four of his last five starts and he has recorded quality starts in seven of his last eight outings. Colon had a 2.61 ERA in August and so far in September it's 2.25 in 12 innings pitched as he appears to be getting stronger as the season progresses. The Mets have won seven of Colon's last nine home starts and six of his last eight interleague games. Meanwhile, Jose Berrios is 2-6 with a 9.27 ERA and Minnesota has lost his last six starts while he has been pummeled to the tune of 30 runs (26 earned) and 37 hits in 23 2/3 innings pitched. The last-place Twins are 26-46 on the road and obviously in dire straits with its starting pitching. The Mets have won eight of their last 11 and are tied for a Wild Card spot. Back the Mets.
