The Minnesota Twins have been unable to slow down the surging Los Angeles Angels, who have won five straight. Ricky Nolasco got off to a very bad start for Minnesota, and he owns a 7.11 ERA on the road this season. He is opposed by Jared Weaver who is doing it again this season with an overall 3.47 ERA that drops to 2.92 in his home starts. Not only does LA have the pitching advantage, they have the offensive advantage as well. This season they are getting 4.8 runs per game while Minnesota is averaging just 4.3. It gets worse when you look at the location-specific batting stats. On the road, Minnesota averages just 4.0 runs per game. Meanwhile, the Angels have averaged 5.1 runs per game this seaon vs. RHP like Nolasco. Over the past three seasons, the Twins are 30-74 vs. AL startting pitchers with an ERA of 3.50 or better and they will really struggle here vs. Weaver. Take the Angels here.
