The Twins played at an extremely high level for the entire second half of the season and now that they have put the rest of the division on the golf course til next year. They are doing the right thing by resting players and setting the rotation, but the intensity is gone for now. They are 0-5 on this road trip thus far and have allowed 10 runs or more in four the five games. It has been a trying year for Scott Baker and, behind an offense that has lost intensity, a 4-6 5.24 road ERA is going to be tough to rescue a win with. Luke Hochevar has pitched well at home for the Royals with a 3.35 ERA here. The Twins are just 4-13 as a road dog behind Baker in his last 17. This one goes to Kansas City.
