The Twins have put the padlock on things in the AL Central. After a blazing hot stretch, it has become time to get the rotation and bullpen in order for the playoffs as well as getting the bumps and bruises from the rigors of a long season healed. That is now the focus not winning, and the Twins have taken a breath and lost four straight. This is not a good road team to begin with as they are just one game over .500 when they leave Minnesota. The Royals can swing the bat as evidenced by their 10-run outburst here last night. They have averaged 7 runs per game at home in their last six. The Twins started 8-1 behind Blackburn, but then the wheels fell off as they are just 7-10 since as he pitches to an ERA of over 5, and on the road he is 3-7 with a 7 ERA. The Royals are 19-8 in their last 27 at home if on a +1.5 runline. I like Kansas City in this one.
