Minnesota at Kansas City

Kansas City cannot afford many more losses if it wants to stay in contention for a playoff spot. The Royals have Jake Junis going tonight and he is 7-2 and has won five of his last seven starts. Junis is 2-0 with a 3.62 ERA at home and he was 3-0 and 2.96 in August. The right-hander has faced the Twins once this season and gave up two runs in 4 2/3 innings. Jose Berrios gave up five runs on seven hits in five innings in an 11-4 loss at Tampa Bay on Monday.  Berrios has done his best pitching at home this season as he is 4-6 with a 5.43 ERA on the road. In one appearance against the Royals, Berrios gave up five runs on nine hits in five innings. Minnesota has also lost his last eight road starts and his last four starts against Kansas City overall.
