The Kansas City Royals remain in the chase for the second AL Wild Card spot as they moved to two games over .500 with their win last night in this series. The Twins have long been removed from any playoffs possibilities, and have not been able to get a big hit in this series as they are 4-21 with runners in scoring position in the two games played thus far. Kevin Correia has not given them much of a chance as he is 5-13 on the season with an ERA of 5.06. His track record against the Royals is disturbing as well as he is 0-5 against them for his career, including 0-2 this season. The Twins are just 9-29 in Correia's last 38 starts, and when he pitches to a low total from 7 to 8.5 they are a dreadful 4-23 in his last 27. The Royals are 8-3 here in their last 11 vs. a losing team, and the Twins are just 11-23 in the last 34 meetings, including 1-7 behind Correia. Take the Royals.
