Minnesota at Kansas City

The Minnesota Twins have not had an impressive season, and in large part it is due to a rotation that lacks both depth, and consistency. The issue isn't at the top, as Phil Hughes and Kyle Gibson have been good, and the Twins own a record of 23-18 when either one of them takes the ball. The problem is when anyone else sstarts the Twins become an awful team at just 25-39 overall. They won last night behind Gibson, and will certainly have a good shot tonight behind Hughes. The Twins are on an amazing run behind Hughes where they are 9-0 in his last 9 starts against a winning team. Kansas City has not fared well when Duffy takes to the mound on an extra day of rest where they are a woeful 2-8 in his last 10 on 5 days of rest.
