Liked the Twins yesterday and they won 3-14. For many of the same reasons, like them again today. KC has now dropped six of seven while Minnesota has won five of seven. Mike Smith makes his first start of the season for the Twins but who cares? This is a fade-KC pick. The Royals start Odalis Perez who has a lovely 8.14 ERA on the season (11.25 over his last three starts). The Royals are getting outscored by 5 runs per game over their last seven games. That's right - they are losing on average 4 to 9. They can't hit right handers (4.5 per game). If Smith gets into trouble, Minnesota has one of the better bullpens in the league (3.19 ERA with 25-5 save record). The Twinkies are blasting 7.6 runs per game over last seven. Favorites of -125 to -175 off 2 or more consecutive wins, a good team (54% to 62%) playing a terrible team (38% or worse) are 60-19 (76%) over the last 5 seasons. KC is now 4-25 after allowing 8+ runs this season. Twins for low price here.
