Detroit can't wait for the season to end and even manager Brad Ausmus knows that he'll be out of a job at season's end as the Tigers begin a rebuilding project. Detroit has lost four in a row, including Thursday's 12-1 blowout at the hands of the Twins, who now are 2 1/2 games ahead of the Angels for the second AL Wild Card. Daniel Norris once was a hot prospect, but he is 2-5 with a 6.65 ERA at home this season and 4-7 and 5.38 overall. The Tigers have lost 43 of their last 63 against right-handed starters and 19 of their last 26 home games. Also, Detroit has lost eight straight against teams with winning records and Minnesota has won four of the last five meetings at Detroit. Play the Twins.
