The Minnesota Twins were feeling good about the future of Brian Duensing after he went 10-3 with a 2.62 ERA a year ago. It looks like the league has caught up with the young lefthander who is pitching to an ERA approaching 5 and is just 2-5 on the season. Max Scherzer has faced the Yankees twice, AL leading Cleveland and Boston already this year and is 6-2 on the season. Scherzer is 9-4 in his last 13 starts vs. a team with a losing record. The Twins have dropped five straight behind Duensing, and their inconsistent offense is now 3-14 in their last 17 after scoring 5+ in their last game. I'm making the pick on Detroit.
