Minnesota at Detroit

Detroit continues to get great pitching and it won its third in four games with a 2-1 victory over Cleveland on Sunday. Harold Castro and Jeimer Candelario went deep for the Tigers, who had only four hits in the win. The Tigers will start Beau Brieske today and he has come out of nowhere, providing much needed help as they wait for their injured starters to heal. Brieske has had only one bad outing in in six appearances, but has gotten little run support. He faced the Twins on Tuesday and allowed two runs in four innings. Dylan Bundy has been destroyed on the road this year as he has allowed 16 runs on 25 hits in 18 innings for an 8.00 ERA. Detroit has one of the best bullpens in the majors with a 3.06 ERA and 1.11 WHIP. Take the Tigers.
