Minnesota at Detroit

The Detroit Tigers have become bat dependent, as they watched Justin Verlander's ERA swell after a disappointing start last night. It now shows the Tigers having allowed 37 runs over their last six games, and a weak bullpen is getting too many innings. The Twins appear listless as they enter this game on an eight-game slide. They do have a decided edge here, as a dog behind  Scott Diamond, who owns a career 2.72 ERA vs. the Tigers Rick Porcello, has really struggled. And with an implodable bullpen behind him, the door is open for the road dog in this one. Play on Minnesota.
