Detroit finally is showing some life as it has won five of seven after winning the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader 4-0 with another great pitching performance by Tarik Skubal, who allowed two hits in seven innings. Another of the Tigers' impressive young pitchers goes today in Alex Faedo, who has not allowed more than two runs in five starts this season while getting little run support. However, the Tigers have begun to hit a little better, including Jonathan Schoop, who had an RBI double and RBI single in yesterday's win. Detroit's bullpen continues to be one of the best in the majors. Chris Archer gave up five runs on seven hits in four innings in a 7-3 loss to Kansas City on Saturday and he is 0-2 with a 6.43 in four day games this year. Detroit has won seven of nine at home.
