Detroit recently suffered a long losing streak, but the Tigers have bounced back to win two in a row and Matthew Boyd is scheduled to start the first game of Friday's doubleheader. Boyd had one of his better outings on Saturday when he allowed two runs on five hits in 5 1/3 innings against the Indians, and he is 7-6 in his career versus the Twins, who have lost two in a row and are only 8-9 on the road. This will be a seven-inning game, which gives the underdog a shorter time to keep the game close and Boyd is good for at least five or six innings. Play the Tigers on the runline.
