Minnesota at Detroit

You have to go back to 2009 to find the Tigers as big a chalk as they are posted in this one. Granted, Justin Verlander is an ace on top of his game, but these numbers aren't warranted against a competent Twins team that won here last night. The Twins have bested Verlander in three of the last eight he has pitched against them, and the Tigers have had trouble within the division at just 1-4 in their last five played. The Twins are playing much better on the road where they have generated 85 runs in their last 17 games, good for 5 per game. I think this one is a bit hefty, so I'll run with the Twins in this one. Take Minnesota.
