The last 10 years in MLB, a team winning their home opener vs. a team that was also playing their first game of the season, stumbles in a relaxing breath in game two if they are also posted as a home favorite, as the visitor owns an ROI of over 25%. Ricky Nolasco showed to be plenty capable vs. the Tigers last season, posting a 1-0 record in three starts backed by a 2.33 ERA.
