Minnesota at Cleveland

Minnesota is a hopeless case with 12 losses in a row. Tonight the Twins go with Pat Dean, who is 1-4 with a 6.24 ERA and has started just seven games this year. Dean's last start was a disaster as he was touched for six runs and eight hits in three innings in a 15-8 loss at Toronto on Friday. Dean's August ERA is 9.00 and he has a 7.76 ERA in night games. The Twins have lost nine straight road games and 13 of their last 16 against right-handed starters. Corey Kluber is 4-0 with a 2.20 ERA in August after giving up just a run and six hits against Texas his last start. Overall, Kluber is 14-8 with a 3.07 ERA on the season and Cleveland has won his last six starts. Kluber hasn't allowed more than three runs since July 3. The Indians have won 20 of their last 26 home games against left-handed starters and they are 41-23 overall at home. Back the Indians tonight.
