Minnesota at Cleveland

The Minnesota Twins have hung in the playoffs race all season, but have hit a bump in the road. The Twins have dropped six straight games, and were just swept by a vastly improved Toronto team. The Twins' problems have been short term, while the Cleveland Indians have struggled for the entire season, and their latest 4-10 mark over their last 14 games sees them sitting in the basement of the AL Central. Mike Pelfrey worked eight shutout innings in his last start, and already has a game this season vs. Cleveland allowing 2 runs over seven innings. Cody Anderson got off to a fine start, but his last three have been messy as he is 0-2 with a gaudy 8.40 ERA. The Tribe is now 22-45 in series openers and have been a joke at home where they are 1-8 in their last nine. Play on the visiting Twins.
