The Minnesota Twins are hanging in the AL Central race, and need a win to at least stay within striking distance of the Detroit Tigers. They will summon Jeff Manship to start for the fourth time, and he has done a good job giving the Twins a chance to win as they have won two of his three starts on the season. He will be opposed by John Danks who has pitched very well in his last four starts, but the White Sox have won just one of the four. The biggest reason is a shaky bullpen that has allowed 10 runs in the four starts. The Twins have been playing well, winners of seven of their last eight, and have also won five straight against teams with a losing record. The White Sox have dropped five of Danks' last six starts vs. the AL Central, and collectively, the division has destroyed the Sox's chances as they are just 6-15 in their last 21 vs. the AL Central. The Twins are now 7-1 in their last eight meetings with the White Sox, so I'll go with Minnesota here.
