Minnesota at Chicago

Things got heated when Minnesota closer Jorge Lopez hit Andrew Vaughn with a pitch in the ninth inning and then Jose Abreau knocked in the winning run on a fielder's choice and the White Sox won 4-3 last night. The Twins will look to bounce back with Tyler Mahle starting for the first time since August 17 when he left in the third inning with a shoulder problem. However, he avoided the injury list and he had pitched six scoreless innings on three hits his previous start against the Angels. Chicago has lost three of Dylan Cease's last four games as he has not gotten much run support. The White Sox are under .500 at home and they are 4-10 their past 14 games overall that have posted totals of 7.0-8.5. The White Sox will be seeing Mahle for the first time and they have lost five of seven versus teams with winning records. Take the Twins.
